Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0569855A1] The plant comprises a plurality of moulds (30), which can be moved on a longitudinal guide (20), and in each case at least two side parts (32, 34), a base part (36, 38) and at least one core (40, 42), which can be moved out from between the side parts (32, 34) transversely to the axial direction (A). The moulds (30) can be clamped together in the axial direction (A) by means of a common axial clamping device (18). Assigned to the moulds (30) is a clamping cage (44), which has lateral clamping devices (52, 54, 56, 58) for holding together the base part (36, 38) and the or each core (40, 42) with the side parts (32, 34) of each mould (30). The cores (40, 42), together with the associated lateral clamping devices (52, 54, 56, 58) are connected to one another by clutches (62) which, in a first position, allow the cores (40, 42) to be removed and reinserted in a defined axial position, whereas, in a second position, they allow an axial displacement of the cores (40, 42) and side parts (32, 34) relative to the clamping cage. <IMAGE>
