The invention relates to a box, particularly for cosmetic products, of the type comprising a base (1), a lid (2) hinged on an edge of the said base (1), means (4, 5) for snap-fitting of the lid (2) and of the base (1) on the edge opposite the hinge (3), and a pusher (6) for releasing the said snap-fitting means (4, 5). The box according to the invention comprises an elastically buttressed block (13) between the base (1) and the lid (2) and arranged so as to be prestressed on closure of the lid (2).
