Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0570330A1] Linear-shed loom, consisting of a weaving rotor (7) with combs (8) which comb through the warp threads (1-6), inserted into thread-forming high and low points (11,12) by laying elements (14), in the direction of rotation (15) as far as a beating-up pattern, the laying elements being at a laying distance (21) from the combs (8). All the warp threads (1-6) crossing one another during insertion have a crossing point (17) advanced in the direction of rotation (15), so that the crossing point (17) comes to rest lower than the comb (8) in the direction of the centre of rotation of the weaving rotor (9), in that, for a warp-thread repeat, care is taken, either by assigning warp threads (1-6) on laying elements (14) or by increasing the distance between laying elements, to ensure that laying elements of any two warp threads adjacent to one another in the fabric have at least a minimum spacing (19). <IMAGE>
