Abstract (en)

[origin: US5118534A] Alkylthioalkylamine carbamic acid derivatives are prepared which correspond to the formula: <IMAGE> (I) wherein R and R1 are both independently alkyl groups containing from 6 to 16 carbon atoms, and m and n are both independently integers of from 2 or 3. Compositions containing these compounds inhibit the growth of organisms such as bacteria, yeast, fungi, mold, algae, mollusks, hydroids, or tunicates on surfaces.
