[origin: WO9309701A1] A person can convert a chair into a chair with knee support without standing up, by swivelling backwards the pair of plates (5) around the axis (7), thus causing the seating surface (1), which is also secured to the lever (6) to move backwards. At the same time the knee support (2) is folded up forward. The back (3) is lowered and is brought into the correct inclined position by the lever (13).

Le siège présenté peut être transformé en un siège permettant à l'utilisateur de s'agenouiller sans qu'il ait à se lever dudit siège. Il suffit à cet effet, de faire pivoter la paire de plaques (5) autour de l'axe (7) vers l'arrière. L'assise (1) qui est également fixée au levier (6) bascule vers l'arrière. Simultanément, la partie destinée à soutenir les genoux (2) est basculée vers l'avant au moyen du levier (16). Le dossier (3) est abaissé, tout en étant mis dans la bonne position d'inclinaison au moyen du levier (13).
