[origin: EP0570697A1] The invention relates to an espagnolette lock actuable by lock cylinder, with a toothed ring which surrounds the locking bit of the lock cylinder and the outer circumference of which meshes with output gearwheels, the rotational movement of which serves, with a reduction gear interposed, for the displacement of the espagnolette; to achieve a simple and functionally advantageous solution, it is proposed that an espagnolette connecting slide (19) consists of two parts (20, 21) which are coupled to one another and of which one is connected to the one espagnolette (4) and the other possesses, for varying the spindle dimension (D), a toothed strip (26) coming into engagement with the output wheel (17) of the gear. <IMAGE>
