A device is described, by means of which printing plates can be introduced in a simpler manner into the opened gripping region (17) of a clamping rail (3) of a plate cylinder (1) assigned to the lead edge of print (DA). For this purpose, the invention provides, on the plate cylinder (1) which is moved into a particular angular position, for an insertion rail (9) extending over the format width to be engaged against the outer circumference of the plate cylinder (1) in the region of the lead edge of print (DA) in such a way that the leading edge of the printing plate can be introduced directly into the gripping region (17) of the lead-edge clamping rail (3) via the insertion surface (15) formed by the insertion rail (8). The outer circumference of the plate cylinder (1) with the insertion rail (9) thus forms a funnel-shaped region for the leading edge of the printing plate. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Beschrieben wird eine Vorrichtung, mit welcher Druckplatten einfacher in den geöffneten Erfassungsbereich (17) einer dem Druckanfang (DA) zugeordneten Spannschiene (3) eines Plattenzylinders (1) eingeführt werden können. Die Erfindung sieht dazu vor, daß an den in eine bestimmte Winkelposition verfahrenen Plattenzylinder (1) eine sich über die Formatbreite erstreckende Einführschiene (9) derartig an den Außenumfang des Plattenzylinders (1) im Bereich des Druckanfanges (DA) anstellbar ist, so daß die Vorderkante der Druckplatte über die durch die Einführschiene (8) gebildete Einführfläche (15) direkt in den Erfassungsbereich (17) der Druckanfang-Spannschiene (3) eingeführt werden kann. Der Außenumfang des Plattenzylinders (1) bildet somit mit der Einführschiene (9) einen trichterförmigen Bereich für die Druckplattenvorderkante. <IMAGE>
