Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0570879A2] For the purpose of repeatedly dissolving the ink-bearing layer of an imaged printing form suitable for offset printing, a jet of a pressurised medium is directed obliquely onto the imaged surface of the printing form at an angle alpha which is less than 90 DEG by means of a dissolving device. A relative movement between the printing form and the dissolving device is executed in such a way that the image/picture elements of the ink-bearing layer are removed over the entire surface of the printing form. Water is preferably used for the pressurised medium. <IMAGE>
