[origin: WO9312289A1] Two press units (1, 2), the axes of which are in a pressing plane (E1) inclined from the vertical, together form a press gap. The two press units (1, 2) are supported on pillow blocks (31, 32) which are coupled together in pairs by means of releasable tension rods (30) which transmit the pressing force. The pillow blocks (32) of one press unit are rigidly supported (i.e. directly on a machine frame (27), base or the like) and bear at least a part of the weight of the other press unit (1). On the machine frame (26), base or the like there is a supporting device at least temporarily to take a component of the weight of the other press unit (1) running transversely to the pressing plane (E1).

Deux unités de compression (1, 2) dont les axes sont situés dans un plan de compression (E1) incliné par rapport à la verticale forment ensemble une fente de compression. Les deux unités de compression (1, 2) sont soutenues sur des paliers (31, 32) couplés par paires au moyen de barres de traction (30) amovibles qui transmettent la force de compression. Les paliers (32) d'une des unités de compression sont rigidement (c'est-à-dire directement) soutenus par un bâti (27), socle de machine ou élément similaire, et portent au moins en partie le poids de l'autre unité de compression (1). Un dispositif de support (46) situé sur le bâti (26), socle de machine ou élément similaire, absorbe au moins temporairement une composante du poids de l'autre unité de compression (1) s'exerçant transversalement au plan de compression (E1).
