[origin: EP0572062A1] The apparatus comprises a duct (5), a fan (6) accommodated in this duct (5), suction passages (7, 8) for allowing air through from the storage space (1) or from the environment to the duct (5). The two passages (7, 8) can in each case be opened fully or partly by a common change-over flap (12) which can be moved between a first and a second position, in the first position closes the first suction passage (7), in the second position closes the second suction passage (8) and in intermediate positions opens in each case partly the first and the second passage (7, 8). The apparatus is of simple and compact design and is suitable for installation in the storage space (1). <IMAGE>
