Abstract (en)
The present invention relates to an alarm system and method, by analysis of a reception signal originating from a sensor detecting a standing wave regime set up in a vehicle passenger compartment, especially by ultrasonic waves, in such a way as to detect an intrusion into the passenger compartment via the changes in the said standing wave regime. According to the invention, the alarm system includes a microcontroller (M) which produces setting-up signals for a receiver (2) during the learning periods in order to set up, by anticipation, the sensitivity of the system.
