[origin: WO9215044A2] A method for automatically packaging photographic prints, characterised by: separating the pack of prints (6) relative to each order into two print sub-packs, turning each print (6) of one sub-pack over with respect to the corresponding print of the other sub-pack, coupling each overturned print with the corresponding unturned print to form a pair of prints in which the surface containing the photographic image is facing outwards, simultaneously inserting the two prints of each pair into the same pocket (8) of a continuous web (4) formed from two sheets of transparent material joined together along one edge and comprising a plurality of equidistant transverse joining lines (10) defining a succession of pockets, after this insertion, advancing said web (4) through a distance equal to the distance between the axes of the pockets (8), inserting the next pair of prints (6) into the next pocket (8) of the continuous web (4), and transversely cutting the pocket web in accordance with the type of packaging required for that order.

Procédé de conditionnement automatique de photos caractérisé par les étapes consistant: à séparer les paquets de photos (6) les unes par rapport aux autres en deux sous-paquets de photos; à retournes chaque photo (6) d'un sous-paquet par rapport à la photo correspondante de l'autre sous-paquet; à coupler chaque photo retournée avec la photo non retournée correspondante pour former une paire de photos dans laquelle la surface contenant l'image photographique est tournée vers l'extérieur; à insérer simultanément les deux photos de chaque paire dans la même pochette (8) d'une bande continue (4) composée de deux feuilles de matière transparente jointes ensemble le long d'un bord, et comprenant une pluralité des lignes de jonction transversales équidistantes (10) définissant une succession de pochette; puis, après cet insersion, à faire avancer ladite bande (4) sur une distance égale à la distance comprise entre les axes des pochettes (8); à insérer la paire de photos suivante (6) dans la pochette suivante (8) de la bande continue (4); et à couper transversalement la bande de pochettes selon le type de conditionnement requis pour cet ordre.
