A housing (2) for a power cylinder (1). The housing (2) comprises a cylinder tube (3) with an outer tube (24) and an inner tube (23). The inner tube (23) is a metal tube (26) and is coaxially enclosed by the outer tube (24), which is made of a plastic material. In this way, a high accuracy of contour is obtained with regard to the inner surface (25) of the cylinder tube (3) swept by a piston (7) in operation. In addition, considerable scope is obtained for the desired external contouring of the cylinder tube (3). <IMAGE>

Es handelt sich um ein Gehäuse (2) für einen Arbeitszylinder (1), das ein Zylinderrohr (3) mit einem Außenrohr (24) und einem Innenrohr (23) umfaßt. Das Innenrohr (23) ist ein Metallrohr (26) und wird von dem aus Kunststoffmaterial bestehenden Außenrohr (24) koaxial umschlossen. Auf diese Weise erhält man eine hohe Konturentreue in bezug auf die im Betrieb von einem Kolben (7) überstrichene Innenoberfläche (25) des Zylinderrohres (3). Zugleich ergibt sich ein großer Spielraum für die wunschgemäße Außenkonturierung des Zylinderrohres (3). <IMAGE>
