A description is given of a device (1) for drying the outside of hoses (2), in particular fire-extinguishing hoses, which has a pneumatic suction-removal device with suction-removal nozzles arranged on the hose wall above and below the hose (2) moved through the device (1), which device is characterised in that the suction-removal nozzles (6) are arranged one behind the other, at a distance from one another, in the direction of movement of the hose (2), in that the hose (2) is curved in the region of the suction-removal nozzles (6) and in that the suction-removal nozzles (6) are in each case arranged on the outside, on the outwardly curved region of the hose surface (in conjunction with Figure 1).

Es wird eine Vorrichtung (1) zum Trocknen der Außenseite von Schläuchen (2), insbesondere von Feuerwehrschläuchen beschrieben, die eine pneumatische Absaugvorrichtung mit oberhalb und unterhalb des durch die Vorrichtung (1) bewegten Schlauches (2) an der Schlauchwandung angeordneten Absaugdüsen (6) aufweist, die dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, daß die Absaugdüsen (6) in der Bewegungsrichtung des Schlauches (2) hintereinander, in Abstand zueinander, angeordnet sind und, daß der Schlauch (2) im Bereich der Absaugdüsen (6) gekrümmt wird und, daß die Absaugdüsen (6) jeweils außen, am nach außen gekrümmten Bereich der Schlauchoberfläche angeordnet sind (in Verbindung mit Figur 1).
