[origin: EP0572860A1] A key (18) is proposed which is resiliently mounted directly in an aperture of a wall (24) of an equipment casing (25) and in the case of which the gripping surface of the key web (12), which points outwards in the installed condition, exhibits a large length/breadth ratio. To innumerate the parts in detail, a relatively wide plate-like key shaft (13) is moulded onto the key web (12) and guide pins (14, 15) are moulded on both sides of the key shaft (13) for receiving pressure springs (16, 17). Furthermore, bolts (19, 20) are mounted on the button shaft (13) and limit the stroke of the button (18) in the non-actuated condition. <IMAGE>
