Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0572959A1] A brass alloy resistant to loss of zinc is proposed which has the following composition (in % by weight): 62.5-64 % of Cu, 0.5-1.5% of Pb, 0.3-0.4 of Mn, 0.5-0.7 of Si, 0.3-0.7 of Al, 0.05-0.15 % of Sb, 5-20 ppm of B, 0-0.25 % of Fe, 0-0.5 % of Ni and 0-0.25 % of Sn, the remainder being Zn.
