Abstract (en)
Electrical distribution device constituted by a horizontal rail (1), which is elongate and has a constant cross-section, intended to support a power cable (8), and by at least one case (3) intended to be fixed, in a removable fashion, at any point along the said rail. According to the invention, the said rail (1), a mounting plate (5) and the said case (3) comprises a lower part having a transverse cross-section in the general shape of an upside-down U so as to form a channel (6) into which the said mounting plate (5) of the rail is engaged, and a cam (20) is mounted in a pivoting fashion and can be manually activated so as to be able to pivot in a direction so as to attach the said mounting plate (5) of the rail into the said channel (6) by jamming (clamping), and to make electrical contact by perforation of the insulation of the cable. <IMAGE>
