Abstract (en)
The thread-tensioning spring (19), which is fastened to the shell (3) of the bobbin casing (1) for the lower thread of a sewing machine and which serves for keeping the thread tension constant during the draw-off of the lower thread, has a contraction behind the tensioning region, that is to say behind the region in which the lower thread is braked by the shell (3) of the bobbin casing (1) and by the thread-tensioning spring (19). The contraction affords the possibility that the tensioning region of the thread-tensioning spring (19) can twist, so that, during the oscillating movement of the lower thread running off from the lower-thread bobbin, a constant braking force always acts on the lower thread. <IMAGE>

Die Fadenspannfeder (19), welche auf dem Mantel (3) der Spulenkapsel (1) für den Unterfaden einer Nähmaschine befestigt ist und dazu dient, die Fadenspannung beim Abziehen des Unterfadens konstant zu halten, weist hinter dem Spannbereich, d.h. hinter dem Bereich, in welchem der Unterfaden durch den Mantel (3) der Spulenkapsel (1) und durch die Fadenspannfeder (19) gebremst wird, eine Einschnürung auf. Die Einschnürung ermöglicht es, dass der Spannbereich der Fadenspannfeder (19) torsieren kann, so dass bei der oszillierenden Bewegung des von der Unterfadenspule ablaufenden Unterfadens stets eine konstante Bremskraft auf diesen einwirkt. <IMAGE>
