Abstract (en)

The signal-generating device consists of a friction element (11) which is integral with the closure means, for example a roller shutter (2), this friction element rubbing on a fixed rigid element capable of being driven in vibration by the friction element and extending over at least the length of the travel of the closure means, and of a vibration sensor (7) mounted on the rigid element and delivering a signal characteristic of these vibrations. The vibrating rigid element can be made up of a blade (9) fixed in one of the slides of the roller shutter or of the slide itself (3). The signals delivered by the sensor can be used for checking the control of the closure means and for detecting attempts at entry. <IMAGE>
