[origin: EP0573820A1] What is described is a mounting for a slidable wing (11) of windows, doors or the like, which, for opening, can first be lifted off from the fixed frame (10) perpendicularly to the plane of the latter and is subsequently movable parallel to the fixed-frame plane behind an adjacent wing or a fixed zone. Seated on the fixed frame (10) are respective upper and lower running rails (23) for the engagement elements (21) of the wing setting-out arms (20) of upper setting-out devices (6) and of lower running members of the wing, to which an actuating and locking linkage (15) is assigned in the mounting rebate (46) of the wing (11) behind the wing overlap (43). Each setting-out arm (20) of the upper setting-out device (6) is, on the one hand, in constant engagement by means of its engagement element (21), in any position of the wing (11), with the upper running rail (23) located in front of the inner fixed-frame plane (39), whilst, on the other hand, each upper setting-out device (6) is releasably connected via a driver (26) to the actuating and locking linkage (15) controllable from a hand lever (3). It is important that each upper setting-out device (6) be arranged on the wing (11) with a fixed base (17, 17a) and with all its movable members (20, 27, 33) outside the mounting rebate (46), and that only its movable driver (26) and fastening or connecting extensions (48) of its fixed base (17, 17a) engage over relative to the mounting rebate (46) and to the actuating and locking linkage (15) located there. <IMAGE>
