[origin: EP0574362A1] Automatic baling press comprising several vertical boxes (12), revolving intermittently in the manner of a carousel, with means (5) for continuous supply and means (8) for automatic circling (hooping), in which the boxes (12) are open at the upper and lower ends, and revolve grazing (sweeping) a fixed horizontal plane (6) located below, which is equipped with an opening (21) in the pressing zone; in which, in line with the box (12) which is located in the pressing station, is provided a pressing cylinder (10) having a vertical axis, the head (11) of which is intended to be inserted precisely in the said box (12); and in which the pressing station is provided with a horizontal prismatic box structure (7) with an identical opening (20) juxtaposed with that (21) of the said plane (6), in which box structure a head (15) is movable in an axial direction and an obturator (16) is movable transversely in order to delimit a pressing chamber (24), and the ball-exit mouth of which is equipped with the said means (8) for automatic circling, which are stationary. <IMAGE>
