[origin: FR2685859A1] The invention relates to a brush for the application of mascara to the eyelashes, comprised of a central core formed by a twisted metal wire (1) whose twists catch between each other the bristles (2) of the brush, said bristles (2) being arranged substantially regularly between said twists, the invention being characterized in that the bristles (2) have a substantially circular solid straight section whose diameter is comprised between 0.12 and 0.25 mm, the number of bristles (2) per turn being comprised between 5 and 9, said bristles forming substantially a single helical layer wherein each bristle has a substantially radial orientation, the angle between two adjacent bristels of the layer being substantially constant with an approximate tolerance of 20 %.

L'invention concerne une brosse pour l'application de mascara surles cils, constituée par une âme centrale formée à partir d'un fil métallique (1) torsadé dont les torsades emprisonnent entre elles les poils (2) de la brosse, lesdits poils (2) étant disposés de façon sensiblement régulière entre lesdites torsades, caractérisée par le fait que les poils (2) ont une section droite sensiblement circulaire pleine dont le diamètre est compris entre 0,12 et 0,25 mm, le nombre de poils (2) par spire étant compris entre 5 et 9, lesdits poils formant sensiblement une nappe hélicoïdale monocouche dans laquelle chaque poil a une orientation sensiblement radiale, l'angle entre deux poils adjacents de la nappe étant sensiblement constant à 20 % près environ.
