Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0574594A1] A lock fitting (10) consists of locking and/or bolt devices, together with a latch (15), a driver (50) mounted in a C-shaped sleeve (30), a rotor (40) and a grip (20) or pair of grips (22) integral therewith. By means of the grip ends, one grip (20) is first inserted through a transverse hole (Q) in the door (T), until the mounting unit composed of the grip sleeve (30) and of the rotor (40) is mounted rotatably therein, whereupon the grip main part (21) is rotated through 180 DEG into its position of rest. A bush (18) guiding the latch (15) fixes the entire system in a fore-end hole (L). The driver is preferably an angle lever (50) which is loaded by a latch spring (16) and which is pivotable in the circumferential region of the sleeve (30) about an axis (S) parallel to the rotor axis (R). The driver has, on the one hand, a partially slotted coupling tongue (52) for the latch end (17, 19) and, on the other hand, a sliding cam (54) which bears non-positively on a bridge (45). As a result of symmetrically designed extensions (19), the latch (15) can be locked in two positions rotated through 180 DEG , so that its outer edge (14) can be offset transversely relative to the longitudinal axis (V) of the latch. <IMAGE>
