In a filter silencer on the intake side of a compressor, with a plurality of annular silencing elements (2) and (2a) consisting of segments butted in a circumferential direction, the base body is designed as a cast monobloc, the silencing segments are fixed on the support part by means of ribs which are cast integrally and radially and have grooves, and the filter frame consists of a perforated plate or a plurality of detachable perforated plate halves connected to one another by means of connection elements. The advantages of the invention comprise, inter alia, simplified assembly and a reduction in the number of components and in the production costs, combined with improved silencing even for higher-frequency excitation. <IMAGE>

Bei einem Filterschalldämpfer auf der Ansaugseite eines Verdichters mit mehreren aus in Umfangsrichtung aneinandergereihten Segmenten bestehenden ringförmigen Dämpfungselementen (2) und (2a) ist der Grundkörper als ein gegossener Monoblock ausgebildet, die Dämpfungssegmente sind durch strahlenförmig angegossene Rippen mit Nuten auf dem Tragteil fixiert und der Filterrahmen besteht aus einem Lochblech oder mehreren, mittels Verbindungselementen miteinander verbundenen, abnehmbaren Lochblechhälften. Die Vorteile der Erfindung bestehen u.a. in einer vereinfachten Montage und in einer Reduktion der Bauteileanzahl sowie der Herstellungskosten bei verbesserter Schalldämpfung auch bei höherfrequenten Anregungen. <IMAGE>
