[origin: EP0574653A1] A multipack consisting of a blank (1) of foldable flat material, in particular cardboard, for bottles or similar containers (26), in which multipack the blank (1) is placed in the manner of a sleeve around the containers (26) and has two opposite side walls (3, 4), a bottom wall (5) with centre-sleeve punchouts (11', 11'') and a covering wall (2) as well as two end-side openings, the side walls (3, 4) each having end flaps (8, 8', 9, 9') on both sides which are pivoted into the end-side openings against the lower edge region of the adjacent containers, and the bottom wall (5) having bottom flaps (10, 10') on both sides which are pivoted against the adjacent end flaps, and the end flaps and bottom flaps being fixed against one another in this position, the bottom wall (5) having centre-sleeve punchouts (12) at the end edges, which punchouts allow entry of a centre-sleeve partial cross-section, the bottom flaps (10, 10') having a central section (17) which has an insertion slot (20), which starts from the bottom-side edge of said central section and is aligned perpendicular to the bottom wall (5), over the common longitudinal axis of the centre-sleeve punchouts (11'', 12) and a tearing line (21), which can be separated by an entering centre sleeve (26), in the extension of said central section up to its edge facing the bottom, said central section being linked on both sides via folding lines (18) extending perpendicular to the bottom wall (5) for pivoting its separated halves (17', 17'') against the containers by means of the entering centre sleeve. <IMAGE>
