Abstract (en)
The invention relates to the comminution of brittle material for milling in a choke-fed roller mill with two milling rollers between whose cylindrical surfaces the material for milling is comminuted under high pressure by applying a milling force. In order to prevent damage to the surfaces of the rollers as a result of excessively high surface pressures, but at the same time to utilise the maximum loadability without exceeding it, the surface pressure of the rollers is continuously monitored and when an upper limit is exceeded it is reduced to an acceptable value by reducing the milling force.

Die Erfindung betrifft die Zerkleinerung von sprödem Mahlgut in einer Gutbett-Walzenmühle mit zwei Mahlwalzen, zwischen deren zylindrischen Oberflächen durch Anwendung einer Mahlkraft das Mahlgut durch hohe Drücke zerkleinert wird. Um Beschädigungen der Walzenoberflächen durch zu hohe Oberflächendrücke vorzubeugen, dabei aber die maximale Belastbarkeit, ohne sie zu überschreiten, auszunutzen, wird der Walzenoberflächendruck kontinuierlich überwacht und bei Überschreiten einer Obergrenze durch Reduzierung der Mahlkraft auf einen zulässigen Wert verringert.
