What is presented is a door stop for motor-vehicle doors, which is formed from a door-holding rod (2) articulated on one door arrangement part, namely the door or door column, and having braking ramps and catch marks (1) projecting transversely relative to its plane, and from a braking or holder housing (5) which is fastened to the other door arrangement part and consists of a housing body (6) and of a baseplate (7) and through which the door-holding rod (2) passes, in which door stop a door-holding rod (2), formed from a blank of flat material and having braking ramps or catch marks (1) projecting only relative to one of its two wide sides, is assigned, within an asymmetrically trough-shaped holder housing (5), on the one hand a fixed abutment body (8) and on the other hand a braking or holding body (10) loaded by a helical compression spring (9) supported against one end wall (11) of the housing body (6), in such a way that the fixed abutment body (8) cooperates with the wide side of the door-holding rod (2) equipped with braking ramps or catch marks (1). <IMAGE>

Vorgestellt wird ein aus einer am einen Türanordnungsteil, Tür oder Türsäule angelenkten quer zu ihrer Ebene vorspringende Bremsrampen und Rastmarken (1) aufweisenden Türhaltestange (2) und einem am anderen Türanordnungsteil befestigten, aus einem Gehäusekörper (6) und einer Bodenplatte (7) bestehenden, von der Türhaltestange (2) durchsetzten Brems- bzw. Haltergehäuse (5) gebildeter Türfeststeller für Kraftwagentüren, bei welchem einer aus einem Flachmaterialzuschnitt gebildeten und lediglich gegenüber einer ihrer beiden Breitseiten vorspringende Bremsrampen bzw. Rastmarken (1) aufweisenden Türhaltestange (2) innerhalb eines asymetrisch wannenförmig gestalteten Haltergehäuses (5) einerseits ein feststehender Widerlagerkörper (8) und andererseits ein durch eine gegen die eine Stirnwand (11) des Gehäusekörpers (6) abgestützte Schraubendruckfeder (9) belasteter Brems-bzw. Haltekörper (10) zugeordnet sind, derart, daß der feststehende Widerlagerkörper (8) mit der mit Bremsrampen bzw. Rastmarken (1) ausgerüsteten Breitseite der Türhaltestange (2) zusammenwirkt. <IMAGE>
