What is presented is a door stop for motor-vehicle doors, which is formed from a door-holding rod (2) articulated on one door arrangement part, namely the door or door column, and having braking ramps and catch marks (1) projecting transversely relative to its plane, and from a braking or holder housing (10) fastened to the other door arrangement part and consisting of a housing body (6) and of a baseplate (7), in which door stop the smooth-faced wide side of the door-holding rod (2), formed from a blank of flat material and having braking ramps or catch marks (1) projecting only relative to one of its two wide sides, is assigned, within the asymmetrically trough-shaped holder housing (6), a fixed abutment body, which cooperates with the wide side of the door-holding rod (2) equipped with braking ramps or catch marks (1), and a braking or holding body (10) loaded by a helical compression spring (9) supported against one end wall (11) of the housing body (6). <IMAGE>

Vorgestellt wird ein aus einer an einem Türanordnungsteil, Tür oder Türsäule angelenkten quer zu ihrer Ebene vorspringende Bremsrampen und Rastmarken (1) aufweisenden Türhaltestange (2) und einem am anderen Türanordnungsteil befestigten, aus einem Gehäusekörper (6) und einer Bodenplatte (7) bestehenden Brems- bzw. Haltergehäuse (10) gebildeter Türfeststeller für Kraftwagentüren, bei welchem der glattflächigen Breitseite der aus einem Flachmaterialzuschnitt gebildeten und lediglich gegenüber einer ihrer beiden Breitseiten vorspringende Bremsrampen bzw. Rastmarken (1) aufweisenden Türhaltestange (2) innerhalb des asymetrisch wannenförmig gestalteten Haltergehäuses (6) ein feststehender Widerlagerkörper, der mit Bremsrampen bzw. Rastmarken (1) ausgerüsteten Breitseite der Türhaltestange (2) zusammenwirkt und ein durch eine gegen die eine Stirnwand (11) des Gehäusekörpers (6) abgestützte Schraubendruckfeder (9) belasteter Brems- bzw.
