[origin: EP0574869A2] In a process and device for the fabrication of an adhesive tip for paper rolls to be spliced, the object consists in forming an adhesive tip with high adhesion in situ, for example on an automatic roll changer, quickly and without equipment outlay. According to the invention this object is achieved in that a prepared adhesive tip in the form of a separate blank is bonded to the start of a new roll web. A corresponding device is also described.
