Abstract (en)
A single-facer section (station) in a corrugated carboard making machine comprises a frame (1) including a base (21) flanked by two lateral walls (23) between which are installed a lower cassette (60) supporting a lower presser cylinder (15) and an upper cassette (50) supporting a pair of superposed channelled (grooved) cylinders (11, 13). The seat receiving the lower (60) and upper (50) cassettes is produced in the front edge of each lateral wall in an identical manner by a seating face (2), a bearing face (3) and a guiding face (4), the bearing (3) and guiding (4) faces being oriented obliquely with respect to the horizontal. The lower (60) and upper (50) cassettes are superposed and holding means (30) exert a traction (pulling action) oriented downwards on the anchoring points (32) located on the rear face of the upper cassette (50) in order to hold it, with the lower cassette (60), against the seating (2), bearing (3) and guiding (4) faces. <IMAGE>
