Pinion shaft for a geared turbomachine with a gear element (1), the adjoining area of which merging into a shaft (3) is designed as a bearing point (4), and with another shaft part (5) adjoining this, on the free end of which a rotor wheel (8) can be detachably arranged. The shaft part (5) is designed as a separate part and connected to the gear element (1) manufactured from a surface-hardenable quenched and tempered steel, the material used for the shaft part (5) being matched to the stresses occurring in view of the temperature and nature of the medium to be compressed. <IMAGE>

Ritzelwelle für eine Getriebe-Turbomaschine mit einem Zahnradelement (1), dessen in eine Welle (3) übergehenden anschließenden Bereich als Lagerstelle (4) ausgebildet ist und einem daran anschließenden anderen Wellenteil (5), an dessem freien Ende ein Laufrad (8) lösbar angeordnet werden kann. Das Wellenteil (5) ist als separates Teil ausgebildet und mit dem aus einem oberflächenhärtbaren Vergütungsstahl hergestellten Zahnradelement (1) verbunden, wobei der für das Wellenteil (5) verwendete Werkstoff der auftretenden Beanspruchung hinsichtlich Temperatur und Art des zu verdichtenden Mediums angepaßt ist. <IMAGE>
