Abstract (en)
An image-receiving element capable of forming an image of a thermally stable dye, to preclude a diffusion of the dye in the lateral direction after the formation of the image, and exhibiting an outstanding fastness ultraviolet light, is provided. An image-receiving element comprising: (1) a substrate; (2) an open cell type porous film superposed on the surface of the substrate and formed of a material exhibiting a very low affinity for a dye; and (3) a polymer exhibiting a high affinity for a dye, possessing a glass transition point (Tg) of not lower than -5 DEG C and not higher than 40 DEG C, and filling the pores of the porous film. <IMAGE>
