[origin: EP0575305A1] In a pneumatic distance/pressure transducer with a pressure-relief valve (10) which is acted upon by the inlet pressure via a feed line (6) and is progressively spring-loaded via the travel of an actuating member (12) and the opening pressure of which responds to the outlet pressure which can be tapped at a discharge line (7), a pressure-balanced 2/2-way seat valve (13) is connected upstream of the pressure-relief valve on the feed-line side. The valve body (14) of the 2/2-way seat valve (13) is connected to the actuating member (12) and is closed in the non-actuated state of the same. Thus, in a simple and robust construction, a transducer is created which exhibits no air consumption in the non-actuated state. <IMAGE>
