[origin: WO9215671A1] A soluble compound selected from the group consisting of: soluble CD28 and soluble derivatives and analogues thereof, which is capable of binding to a B-7 protein. The compound preferably has one of the following amino acid sequences of amino acid residues 19 to 108, 19 to 140 or 19 to 151, of human CD28 protein or a soluble derivative or analogue thereof. Most preferably the amino acid sequences of soluble CD28 is in dimeric form. Also processes for the treatment or prevention of immunological diseases and rejection of transplanted cell and tissue. Specifically the prevention of graft versus host diseases in bone marrow transplantation.

Composé soluble choisi dans le groupe constitué par la CD28 soluble ainsi que ses dérivés et analogues solubles, laquelle est capable de se lier à une B-7. Le composé comporte de préférence une des séquences aminées suivantes des restes acides aminés 19 à 108, 19 à 140 ou 19 à 151, de protéine CD28 ou un dérivé ou un analogue soluble de celle-ci. Idéalement, les séquences d'acides aminés de CD28 solubles se présentent sous forme dimère. L'invention concerne également des procédés de traitement de prévention de maladies immunologiques et de rejet de cellules et de tissus transplantés. En outre, l'invention concerne la prévention de maladies affectant des hôtes lors d'une greffe de transplantation de moelle osseuse.
