The invention relates to a mattress base in the form of a slatted frame for a bed, having individually mounted support slats which are arranged transversely to the lying surface and together form the resting surface, for example, for a mattress. To improve the adaptability under loading, the following features are proposed according to the invention: a) the lifting element (6) of each support slat (1) is an unsupported, upright bellows whose air receiving space is designed to be rigid in its cross-sectional contour and to be variable only in respect of its height and to be proportional to the assigned loading in its effective length relative to the support slat (1); b) the kinematic coupling (10, 11, 15, 16) consists of a pneumatic coupling which connects all the lifting elements (6) to one another and comprises an air distributor (15, 16) which is provided with integrated damping (17, 18, 19) and to which all the bellows are connected in each case via an air connector (11); c) each support slat (1) rests directly on the bellows assigned to it via a support slat bearer (5), said bellows being of slightly narrower construction than the support slat bearer (5); d) each support slat bearer (5) is guided in a forced parallel guide (7, 8, 9) which ensures its displacement parallel to itself.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Untermatratze in Form eines Lattenrostes für eine Bettstelle, mit einzeln gelagerten, quer zur Liegefläche angeordneten Stützleisten, die gemeinsam die Auflagefläche für z. B. eine Matratze bilden. Zur Verbesserung der Anpassungsfähigkeit bei Belastung werden erfindungsgemäß folgende Merkmale vorgeschlagen: a) Das Hubelement (6) jeder Stützleiste (1) ist ein frei- und aufrechtstehender Faltenbalg, dessen Luftaufnahmeraum in seiner Querschnittskontur starr und nur hinsichtlich seiner Höhe veränderlich und in seiner bezogen auf die Stützleiste (1) wirksamen Länge proportional zu der zugeordneten Belastung ausgebildet ist; b) die kinematische Kupplung (10,11,15,16) besteht aus einer alle Hubelemente (6) miteinander verbindenden pneumatischen Kupplung, die einen mit eingebauter Dämpfung (17,18,19) versehenen Luftverteiler (15,16) umfaßt, an den alle Faltenbalge über je einen Luftanschluß (11) angeschlossen sind; c) jede Stützleiste (1) liegt über einen Stützleistenträger (5) unmittelbar auf dem ihr zugeordneten Faltenbalg auf, der etwas schmaler als der Stützleistenträger (5) ausgebildet ist; d) jeder Stützleistenträger (5) ist in einer seine Parallelverschiebung zu sich selbst sichernden Zwangsparallelführung (7,8,9) geführt. <IMAGE>
