[origin: EP0575633A1] A compact motor-vehicle window-lifter drive having low operating noise has the features: a worm wheel (2) drives a driver (3) with tangential play; a toothed ring (1.3) is provided axially concentrically to the driver (3) in a gear case (1); a blocking pawl (6) lockable with the toothed ring (1.3) in a self-locking pivoting position is mounted in the driver (3) in the manner of a toggle lever; a slip ring (4), respectively with a first free-movement boss (4.1) in front of and with a second blocking-movement boss (4.2) behind the blocking pawl (6), is rotatably mounted in the gear case (1) in a slipping manner, in such a way that the slip ring (4), with motor drive "raise", is pivoted by the driver (3) via the blocking pawl (6) bearing against the first free-movement boss (4.1) and thereby pivoted free out of the toothed ring (1.3), with motor drive "lower" is pivoted via the first free-movement boss (4.1) directly by the gear element (worm wheel) located on the drive side, and, with an output-side drive of the driver (3) in the "lower" direction of rotation, the blocking pawl (6) can be locked in a self-locking manner in the toothed ring (1.3) via the second blocking-movement boss (4.2). <IMAGE>
