The invention relates to a suspension rail for suspended files or suspended folders, comprising an elongate metal band (10) having latching cutouts (28) which are arranged in the vicinity of the two ends (16) and are open-edged towards the side of the one longitudinal edge (14) which is at the bottom in the suspended state, and having a plurality of through-passages (30) which are arranged at unit spacings between the two latching cutouts (28), pass transversely through the metal band (10) and are configured as round holes. In order to improve the anchoring in the through-passages (30) of an identification tab to be placed on the suspension rail and, nevertheless, to ensure sufficient bending strength of the metal band (10), said metal band (10) has an S-shaped profile which extends to the rail ends, the through-passages (30) being arranged in the lower profile portion (20) which is bent out convexly. <IMAGE>

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Hängeschiene für Hängetaschen oder -mappen, bestehend aus einem langgestreckten Metallband (10) mit in der Nähe der beiden stirnseitigen Enden (16) angeordneten, zur Seite des einen im Hängezustand unteren Längsseitenrandes (14) hin randoffenen Rastaussparungen (28) und mehreren zwischen den beiden Rastaussparungen (28) in rasterartigen Abständen voneinander angeordneten, das Metallband (10) quer durchsetzenden, als Rundlöcher ausgebildeten Durchbrüchen (30). Um die Verankerung eines auf die Hängeschiene aufzusetzenden Kennzeichnungsreiters in den Durchbrüchen (30) zu verbessern und trotzdem eine ausreichende Biegesteifigkeit des Metallbands (10) zu gewährleisten, weist das Metallband (10) ein sich bis zu den Schienenenden erstreckendes, S-förmiges Profil auf, wobei die Durchbrüche (30) im unteren, konvex herausgebogenen Profilabschnitt (20) angeordnet sind. <IMAGE>
