Abstract (en)
The mat comprises a rigid or semi-rigid covering (10) provided with a series of nozzles (12) defining passages for the gas, a peripheral skirt (14) which is laterally closed, attached to the covering (10) of the mat and extending downwards from the latter in order to define, together with the lower surface of the covering (10), a hollow volume which is intended to contain, when in operation, a flat pocket of gas situated underneath the surface of the covering (10) and formed by gas injected into the mat and serving to bubble gas through the nozzles (12). In order to make it possible to modify the intensity of bubbling, the covering (10) is divided into at least two zones (18, 20) separated from one another by a groove (22) which is formed in the surface of the covering (10) and whose lateral walls (22a, 22b) are provided with nozzles (24).
