Abstract (en)
The compressor comprises a supplementary valve (30, 18; 40a) operable to put the working chamber (5) of the piston permanently into communication with the induction aperture (13a) via a duct (18) when air under pressure is supplied to a control input (2c) of the compressor (2). This supplementary valve comprises a passage (30) which intercepts the said duct (18) and communicates with the said control input (2c) and a valve piston (40) slidably displaceable in this passage (30) under the effect of pressure supplied to the said control input (2c), against the action of a biasing spring (41), from a rest position in which it intercepts the duct (18) to a working position in which via the said duct (18) it allows permanent communication between the induction aperture (13a) and the working chamber (5). <IMAGE>
