Abstract (en)
The flagpole according to the invention comprises a column (1) provided with a beam (4) which carries a flag (5) equipped with a rigid headrope (8) which can be manoeuvred from the foot of the column with the aid of a halyard (7), connection means being provided between the beam (4) and the headrope (8) when the latter has been brought into the upper position by means of the halyard (7). The rigid headrope (8) is a profile (37) covering a rope (38) sown into a hem (39), on which profile there is fixed a shoe element (40) comprising a receptacle (43) which is capable of receiving in a removable manner the end (41) of the halyard. The connection means consist of a housing (16) for the headrope (8) provided under the beam (4), the latter comprising an outwardly widening seat (22) for the headrope (8). <IMAGE>
