[origin: EP0576339A1] This is a clamp which includes, on the one hand, a body (12) with which is associated an attachment tongue (13) by means of which it is capable of being temporarily plugged into a support (14) and, on the other hand, a gripping member (15) which, mounted so as to move on the body (12), is continuously urged elastically towards a service position for which it is capable of tightly gripping the electrical conductor to be equipped. According to the invention, along the path of the gripping member (15), is interposed a trigger (27) by means of which this gripping member (15) may be held in a stand-by position away from its service position and, mounted so as to move on the body (12) at least within the limits of a defined movement, the attachment tongue (13) constitutes a pull-off (release) to which this trigger (27) is subjected. Application, in particular, to connection clamps intended to be remotely attached to a bare overhead electric-power conductor. <IMAGE>
