Abstract (en)
The equipment for the collection and removal of urban solid waste comprises at least one container held in a housing at least partially sunk below a surface for pedestrian use and, combined with said container (1), means of access (7) for tipping waste into it, means of withdrawing (27) the container from the housing (5), and means of discharge (29), using a rotary movement about an approximately horizontal axis, into a vehicle (V) for compaction and/or removal of the waste. <IMAGE>
