[origin: EP0576697A1] In a combustion chamber for gas turbines, a combination of premixing burners (10) with catalytically supported, preferably gas-operated burners (20) is provided, the main combustion being carried out with the premixing burners. The premixing burners (10) and the catalytic burners (20) are interchangeable. The catalytic burners (20) are provided with a outgoing-gas return (24, 26), the outgoing gas preferably being extracted from the combustion chamber (25). The inlet of the combustion air for the catalytic burners is designed as a jet pump (24) which draws the outgoing gas out of the combustion chamber (25). <IMAGE>
