On the twin-wire former of a papermachine, one endless wire (1) is brought together with the second wire (2) on an at least partially curved guide surface (4), which can be moved frictionally relative to the wires. This drainage region described is followed by a further guide surface (7) which, in advantageous embodiments, has the opposite direction of curvature and is spatially fixed. <IMAGE>

Am Doppelsiebformer einer Papiermaschine wird das eine endlose Sieb (1) auf eine zumindest teilweise gekrümmte Führungsfläche (4) mit dem zweiten Sieb (2) zusammengeführt, wobei die Führungsfläche (4) kraftschlüssig gegen die Siebe bewegt werden kann. Nach diesem beschriebenen Entwässerungsbereich folgt eine weitere Führungsfläche (7), die in vorteilhaften Ausgestaltungen einen entgegengesetzten Krümmungssinn hat und raumfest fixiert ist. <IMAGE>
