Printing quality control devices for printed sheets (1), preferably in a rotary printing machine for perfecting, wherein a straight sheet-conveying route is provided in a region between a chain wheel (6) and a horizontal sheet-conveying route. Above and below a movement path of the printed sheets within a region of the straight sheet-conveying route, there are provided video cameras (13; 19) with a CCD surface sensor (9; 11), which can be driven in cycles aligned with the movement path, and in each case a flash-light source synchronised with the video camera and a device for the selective detection of printing guides or printed lines on a sheet to be checked and for triggering a command to the video camera to take a picture and a command for triggering a flash by the flash-light device. <IMAGE>

Druck-Qualitätskontrolleinrichtungen für bedruckte Bogen (1), vorzugsweise in einer Schön- und Widerdruck-Rotationsdruckmaschine, in einem Bereich zwischen einem Kettenrad (6) und einer horizontalen Bogentransportstrecke eine gerade Bogentransportstrecke vorgesehen ist. Oberhalb und unterhalb einer Bewegungsbahn der bedruckte Bogen innerhalb eines Bereiches der geraden Bogentransportstrecke sind, auf die Bewegungsbahn in getaktetem Betrieb betreibbare, ausgerichtete Videokameras (13;19) mit einem CCD-Flächensensor (9;11) und jeweils eine mit der Videokamera synchronisierte Blitzlichtquelle und eine Einrichtung zur wahlweisen Erkennung von Druckmarken oder gedruckten Linien auf einen zu kontrollierenden Bogen und Auslösung eines Bildaufnahme-Kommandos an die Videokamera und eines Kommandos zur Auslösung eines Lichtblitzes durch die Blitzlichteinrichtung vorgesehen. <IMAGE>
