An encased awning has an awning housing (2) in which there are located, on the one hand, the winding shaft (8) mounted rotatably therein and, on the other hand, the wall-side articulations of articulated arms (85, 86). The housing (2) is largely open on its side remote from the wall and is closed by a three-part opening-out rail (11) when the awning is retracted. The central part (51) of the opening-out rail (11) is articulated on the articulated arms (85, 86) and serves, moreover, as a carrier for an upper and a lower flap (53, 55). Said flaps are pivoted onto the awning canvas (9), when the awning is extended, and, when the awning is retracted, fully close the housing (2) in order that the articulated arms (85, 86) and the wound-up roll of the awning canvas (9) are protected from weathering. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Eine Kasettenmarkise weist ein Markisengehäuse (2) auf, in dem sich einerseits die darin drehbar gelagerte Wickelwelle (8) und andererseits die wandseitigen Gelenke von Gelenkarmen (85, 86) befinden. Das Kassettengehäuse (2) ist auf seiner von der Wand abliegenden Seite weitgehend offen und wird bei eingefahrener Markise von einer dreiteiligen Fallschiene (11) verschlossen. Der mittlere Teil (51) der Fallschiene (11) ist an den Gelenkarmen (85, 86) angelenkt und dient außerdem als Träger für eine obere und eine untere Klappe (53, 55), die bei ausgefahrener Markise in Richtung auf das Markisentuch (9) verschwenkt sind und bei eingefahrener Markise vollständig das Gehäuse (2) verschließen, damit die Gelenkarme (85, 86) und der aufgewickelte Ballen des Markisentuches (9) witterungsgeschützt sind. <IMAGE>
