The invention relates to a device for the electrical connection of screens of multipole plugs, which have a female strip connector, to the earth-potential layer of a wiring board which has a plurality of contact blades at right angles to it. In order to screen the open end surfaces, the ends of the plug are provided, in the same way as the longitudinal sides, with in each case one end screening plate (17) on the component side and one end screening plate (18) on the solder side, the end screening plates (17, 18) being firmly connected to the screening plates (4, 5) on the longitudinal sides, and likewise having spring regions in the region of the contact blades (7). <IMAGE>

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zur elektrischen Verbindung von Abschirmungen mehrpoliger, ein Federleistengehäuse aufweisender Stecker mit der Erdpotentialschicht einer mehrere, senkrecht auf ihr stehende Kontaktmesser enthaltenden Verdrahtungsplatte. Zur Erzielung einer Abschirmung der offenen Stirnflächen sind die Stirnseiten des Steckers ebenso wie die Längsseiten mit je einem bauteileseitigen und einem lötseitigen Stirnschirmblech (17, 18) versehen, wobei die Stirnschirmbleche (17, 18) mit den längsseitigen Schirmblechen (4, 5) fest verbunden sind und ebenfalls im Bereich der Kontaktmesser (7) Federbereiche aufweisen. <IMAGE>
