[origin: EP0576884A1] The invention relates to a garment hanger which has a bow-shaped element (7) and a suspension element (15) which engages on the bow-shaped element halfway along the width of the garment hanger. In the garment hanger, the suspension element (15) is constructed as a separate component which can be inserted into the bow-shaped element (7) and removed from the latter. This design makes it possible to simplify the logistics in connection with the articles of clothing, from their manufacture and transportation to their sale, since the bow-shaped element can be simply separated from the suspension element. <IMAGE>
