[origin: WO9217659A1] The invention relates to a frame structure to be provided with panels and comprising vertical stud members (12) and transverse girders (13) mounted therebetween. The stud members and the transverse girders comprise channel shaped metal sheet sections having inwardly bent edge flanges (18, 18'). According to the invention, the transverse girders form at one end thereof two slots (22, 22') extending through the limbs (20) of the channel shaped section and partly into the edge flanges (21) and the web (19) of the channel shaped sections in order that the transverse girders (21) shall receive therein the edge flanges of a vertical stud member. Moreover, the transverse girders at the other end form at least one tongue (25) to be received in an aperture (29) in the web (16) of a vertical stud member. The tongue has a latch member (27) for latching the tongue when inserted into the aperture.

Structure de cadre devant être pourvue de panneaux et comportant des montants (12) ainsi que des poutres transversales (13) montées entre ces derniers. Les montants et les poutres transversales sont constitués de profilés métalliques en U dont les bords présentent des brides (18, 18') orientées vers l'intérieur. L'une des extrémités de chaque poutre transversale comporte deux fentes (22, 22') menagées dans les bras (20) du profilé en U et dans une partie des brides de bord (21) et de la section centrale (19) dudit profilé afin que les brides de bord d'un montant puissent s'emboîter dans ladite poutre transversale (21). Par ailleurs, l'autre extrémité de chaque poutre transversale porte au moins une languette (25) destinée à s'emboîter dans une ouverture (29) ménagée dans la section centrale (16) d'un montant. Ladite languette comprend un élément de verrouillage (27) destiné à verrouiller la languette lorsqu'elle est introduite dans ladite ouverture.
