Abstract (en)

Multi-sheet products (D), in particular printed products, are opened for, for example, inserting supplements. For this purpose, by the method according to the invention, in a first step, sheet edges lying one on top of the other in the closed product are separated from one another in a fan-like manner by a gas jet directed at these edges and, in a second step, an opening element (71) is pushed between two of the fanned-out sheet edges, while the edges are held stably in a separated position by the continuing effect of the gas jet, until at least a part of the opening element has been pushed between the sheets. <IMAGE>

Mehrblättrige Erzeugnisse (D), insbesondere Druckprodukte werden beispielsweise zum Einstecken von Beilagen geöffnet. Dazu werden gemäss dem erfindungsgemässen Verfahren in einem ersten Schritt im geschlossenen Erzeugnis aufeinanderliegende Blattkanten durch einen auf diese Kanten gerichteten Gasstrom fächerartig voneinander getrennt und in einem zweiten Schritt wird zwischen zwei der aufgefächerten Blattkanten ein Öffnungselement (71) geschoben, während die Kanten durch die andauernde Wirkung des Gasstromes in einer getrennten Stellung stabil gehalten werden, bis wenigstens ein Teil des Öffnungselementes zwischen die Blätter geschoben ist. <IMAGE>
